I've just received an email about new scan "Trade Triangles". I've seen the video and it looks very interesting. I would therefore like to get more information about the "Trade Triangles" - the break-out scan strategy. There is a trading method called "triangle" pattern in technical analysis, I don't think the "Trade Triangles" scan has any relationship with this pattern... Pls advise!

Your right, our "Trade Triangles" are not associated with the Technical Analysis "triangle" pattern. Basically our triangles are produced intra-day when our algorithm is triggers. Our algorithm is based on time sensitive thresholds, DMAs, and other weighted factors. These signals are dynamically generated on quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily charts... making it easy for swing/position traders to catch the big moves in the market.

Below is an example of our Recent Trade Triangle search tool. I am able to set the scan to find equity symbols that have recently been issued a monthly trade triangle. I know that symbols in this list have recently turned around on their long term trend. I can use these signals as my initial entry point and then use the weekly signals for the timing points.
