The King Is Dead, Windows 10 And Do You Want Fries With That?

The big news today is the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. The king was hospitalized with pneumonia-like symptoms in late December and died early Friday at the age of 90. It was understood that Crown Prince Salman, King Abdullah's half brother, was the hand-picked successor and has moved quickly to established himself as the new king.

The death of King Abdullah is a game changer in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia, which holds 46% of the world's oil reserves. Saudi Arabia is a major ally of the US, how that changes now is anyone's guess.

Change equals opportunity and make no mistake about it, behind the scenes in Saudia Arabia the knives are out for Crown Prince Salman, who is 79 years old and not in the best of health.

The death of King Abdullah could not have come at a worst time with ISIS stirring up trouble in the Middle East. It remains to be seen how everything is going to play out, but to this observer, it is not going to be a happy ending.

Windows 10 - A Game Changer Or A Big Yawn?

It's official, Windows 10 is on its way. Is this going to be a revolutionary new system for Microsoft?

In today's video, I'll be covering the stock of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and sharing with you some key levels that, if broken, will help accelerate Microsoft’s next big move.

Do You Want Fries With That?

Apparently not, as thousands of customers have been fleeing McDonald's for other food choices, so sad for Ronald McDonald. In this past year, McDonald's has been battling for sales in the US, all while dealing with a food safety scandal in China and problems in Europe.

Technically this stock is in a downtrend with a massive double top at the $103.70 level. I believe that McDonald's faces some major challenges in the future. I would not be surprised to see it trading at the $70 level in the next 12 to 18 months.

I'm also going to be looking at oil because of the death of King Abdullah, and hopefully finding some "52-week highs on a Friday" opportunities for you.
