When this brainless experiment by the Fed blows up and the Almighty Dollar comes crashing down under the weight of trillions of debt and trillions of printed green paper, I sincerely doubt that you will be able to roll a barrel of crude into the supermarket to exchange it for food or exchange a 400-barrel truck load of crude for a car at your local friendly car dealer.

Jeremy, It would be helpful to point out a possible trade, Perhaps pointing out an EFT and possible targets to look at, and perhaps a time frame for your envisaged move.
You sort of lost me with "This means that my personal biggest picture macro plan remains on track and a ‘buy’ by this chart". What exactly are you buying with your biggest picture macro plan?
Just my two cents (worth almost a nickel today, by the way!).

Interesting interview, got some great insights into gold investing. The sharp price decline in gold spot price triggered a buying mania rather than a selling frenzy. This speaks volumes about people’s confidence in physical gold as a safe-haven. And for paper gold, I see it as ‘a promise that might not be paid’…..

You shouldn't buy gold and silver to get rich. The reason why you purchase gold and silver is to preserve your wealth. In 1958 when I was in high school a gallon of gasoline cost around 25 cents. If you would have saved your quarters minted before 1965 you can still buy a gallon of gasoline for that quarter. Each quarter minted prior to 1965 has .18 ounces of pure silver in it. At today's spot silver price of $21.58 per ounce the quarters minted prior to 1965 are worth $3.88. The government thinks they can print money to solve our problems. This will eventually result in hyper-inflation and destroy the middle class.

My technical analysis experience since 1983 teach me one great surprising thing that most of sharp movements take place without showing any well known or well experienced pastern or following any specific widely used studies.

All Consequent found reasons are just a sort of Post-Morterm reports, and they just fit to size efforts.
