You can observe a lot by watchin!

By: Chris Irvin, Veteran Instructor & Trader at The Wizard

I have been trading, and mentoring others how to make high probability, low risk stock and option trades for the past decade.  I have worked with over 20,000 students from Sidney Australia to Albany New York.  In that time I have worked with every system, indicator, and study you can think of and come to one conclusion – If you draw enough lines on a chart, your stock is bound to hit one of them eventually.  For me, trading is not about impressing others with fancy algorithms.  It is about Yogi-isms.

Yogi Berra was one of the most colorful figures in all of Baseball.  An amazing player, starting his carrier in 1946, he eventually was named the Manager of the Yankees, the Mets, the Yankees again, and then finished out his carrier with the Astros in 1992.  Yogi’s contribution to Americana actually goes far beyond the sports world.  He was also known for creatively phrasing some of the most obvious thoughts ever! Struggling with Decisiveness - Part 2

From time to time, we here at the Traders Blog will feature a person or product that stands out in the trading world. Today that trader is Chris Irvin of the Wizard.com. Chris will be sharing part of his “Go Moment” trading strategy. Be sure to comment below with your thoughts and questions.

Hello traders, I am Chris Irvin, Senior Instructor at The Wizard. For the past eight years I have been doing what I love to do – communicating the intricacies of the financial markets to those who desire to improve their trading skills. I was never a broker, although I previously spent time with a trust company as well as being a registered representative, so all of my market insights have come from my personal experiences as an active trader for over a decade. I have traveled across the United States, Australia and Canada to help thousands of people become more successful traders.  Hopefully, this blog will help you! Hello traders I’m Alan Knuckman, Senior Market Strategist. I can be seen every week on financial television networks such as CNBC, Bloomberg, FOX Business and Reuters. I’m blogging today about my favorite trading strategy and my weekly trend breakouts for the week of November 7th.

With over 20 years plus experience in the markets, it has been proven to me that the real money is made on established trends.  Chasing turns and trying to pick tops or bottoms is extremely dangerous and only a gamble at best.  Financial success on the other hand is about repeatedly identifying high probability candidates and taking a chunk out of the proven market momentum.
