Rather than taking the simple and safest way out by lifting the shield that prevents banks from seeing who's borrowing from the government and letting the banks sort this out, Congress has instead passed a bill that is going to be funded by the America people. Even though this isn't going to work anyways it should be paid fully by Congress for starting this mess in the first place! It would be nice if for once our government would actually look out for America rather than they own fat backsides.

  4. Remember this on election day. Vote out any encumbent, regardless of party. Most of these people are B team players at best. When the get to Washington they are not doing the "peoples" business. Even if a decent person gets elected, it takes little time for him to lose his integrity.

I thought only third world countries are propping up markets, only now I know how wrong I was that the USA never practise what they preach but they were quite cheeky to tell off South Korea and Indonesia to face firing squad to bite bullet to allow their markets to correct naturally in 1998 Asian financial crises but now they purposely prop up the Dow above 10,000 and make sure the Dow staying that high unnaturally. The correct place for the Dow should be under 10000 to reflect the US economic recession. Who believes US in recession when Dow is just facing a small correction, less than 50% correction?

  6. The FBI should investigate ACORN whose leaders have admitted fraud, the Community Reorganization Act and anyone on the upper level who benefited from this act, including mambers of congress. Also Franklin Raines who headed Fannie Mae and his CFO at the time. Raines should be made to return every dollar of bonus' he made while there.

    Ron Paul one of the best and most honest members of congress has been telling ALl Americans about the FED an inflation. Where were American savers ? Who was buying homes to flip them ? Who was regulating the investment houses ? Every one sat on their bums and watched Reality Shows. Very few educated themselves as to what was happening.

    Now Amrticans are MAD realizing what was done in their name.

    Get out and VOTE ! It is the only way to change things. Throw some of the CROOKS out ! As long as Americans only complain but do not act nothing will change. America now has to pay for 25 Years of Excess brought on by both Democrats and Republicans.

    Vote and CHANGE things ...

AS FAR AS THIS 700 BILLION DOLLAR BAIL OUT DOES WALL STREET COME TO YOUR RESCUE WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR LIFE SAVEINGS IN THE MARKETS NO THEY DON'T EVEN BAT AN EYE BUT WHEN IT COME'S TO THEM GOING FROM MULTI MILLONAIRSTO THE POVERTY LEVEL LIKE MOST AMERICAN'S ARE THIS JUST CAN'T HAPPEN WELL I THINK IT'S TIME THEY FOUND OUT JUST WHAT IS MENT BY (RISK) WITCH THEY PUSH IN YOUR FACE EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO OPEN A TRADING ACCOUNT.

  10. Abdul - we don't just seize assets in the country without due process in the court system. I agree with you sentiments but we need to let the investigations play out and convictions take hold before we seize assets of the perps.

Contrary to naive popular opinion, ours and the European countries are controlled and run by a cabal of super wealthy financiers and industrialists (Re: "The Rich and the Super Rich", Ferdnand Lundberg, 1964 and "rule by secrecy", Jim Marrs, 2000) who are always well positioned to cash in on wars and financial disasters, sometimes even initiated and/or engineered and financed by them. For instance, J, P. Morgan, which was set up by a banker well connected to the Rothchilds of Europe, just cashed in, pennies on the dollar, on Washington Mutual, etc.

    It's rather obvious that the whole imbroglio has been caused by the huge escalation in the OIL price which has been forced up by the Arabs and other Muslim oil nations - together with 'western' rogue states like Venezuela -who,together with the old 'evil empire'(Russia) - which remains exactly that under their 'almost' dictator - in all but name- (Putin)all of whom work in concert in their oil cartel to squeeze the west - represented by America- to line their own pockets , by continually cutting production-or using blackmail by threatening to do so . It should be obvious to all who wish to see that the financial troubles started as the price of oil started to escalate. Keep in mind that oil is not only used for cars,but for a miriad other uses -unnecessary to enumerate ,one need only mention plastic and its derivitives. Should the price of oil somehow fall - you'll see an immediate ameliorating effect on the western-world's economies.

  13. i would like to bring to your attention, that after reading in various magazines , ihave come to conclusion that most of the frauds are done by certain people of certain background, , they are who have lots power, when they commit crime it is not widely advertised, it is shrugged underneath the rug, and finally when they are caught they settle it on like penny on a dollar and the crook is not punished and he lives a kingsly life ,while people who have lost money are suffering, they have made the rules and i think sec and other s shold change the rule and put those people behind bar and seize all theis assests, i forgot tomention who are those people, starting like stern, goldman, lehman etc they are the ones creating fraud and then gov comes and bails them out, i think people who were in charge of the company like aig, and others hank greenberg they shoul seize all his assests and other people like him to pay for the bailout. for example gov spitzer of new york was involved in adultry after few days it was completely taken of the air , i hope you understand who are ruining this financial instution, ihope people should investigate thorouhly and take the control off their hand, rules should be made in such a way that their is no mercy and no loopholes , and the fincial control should be taken away from people who have being controlling for longtim
