  1. How about having the ability to automatically sort the Portfolio by Symbol or Name??? It's a pain to put them in order moving each name up or down only one name at a time.

      1. Hi Lindsay,

That is just a temporary sort.

When a new symbol is selected to goes to the bottom to the list. Instead of moving the new symbol one line at a time, I would like to be able to add some symbols and then just tell it to sort all the symbols alphabetically.

That way when I pull down the symbols in the charting section, all of the symbols will be there in alpha order.

        Thanks,

        1. Ron,

I'll pass the feedback on and hopefully we can implement that with our new portfolio tool.

  2. Hi Lindsay,

Thanks for letting us know what's coming!

I echo the sentiments about the charts loading very slowly. I know that part of the problem is the processor on my 4yr old Mac iBook, but it's good to hear that it might be a server issue, too.

I only have one issue with the charts. I love the new crosshair cursor, but I have trouble creating new Fibonacci charts because my cursor doesn't seem to know which small circle to select. Perhaps it's just a Mac issue, but please have IT look at that, too. Perhaps the cursor could be disabled when the Fibonacci tool is active?

Thanks!!! I love this site and use it daily.

  3. How about this? ... adding the Trade Triangle information in more locations.

When we get the daily e-mail Chart Analysis Report, how about including columns for the three Trade Triangles in addition to the Total Score? A simple "Up Up Dn" in three columns would be very useful.

While you are at it, how about adding those same three columns to "My Portfolio"?

It would also help to include the Trade Triangle information on the Instant Analysis screen. The small chart and Total Score are nice, but it would be even better if the page also showed the Trade Triangles (maybe even show the date and the amount for each).

  4. One more suggestion for improvement would be to display the name of the stock to the right of the on on/below chart studies if possible.
It would be very helpful, especially when I look at dozens of charts and loading is slow. After a while, I can't remember which chart is displayed. Hope that's not too big a change...

PS: to echo the other user's comment, loading charts is an issue. Hope you can implement your changes soon.

PPS: I'm a new user but your charts are already a big part of my decision process.

    Thanks.

  5. I joined MarketClub only in April, and I have to say that I am impressed by the service. I have two concerns: (1) The charts are very slow to load, which adds greatly to one's research time. (2) The pointer on my mouse goes berserk on the charts, although not elsewhere on the website. Is this a problem with my computer or a weakness in the charting program? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you and keep up the great work.

    1. Dear Mr. McKay,

I'm glad to hear that you have happy with the overall MarketClub service. As for the concerns you addressed: We are updating our servers to ensure that the pages load as fast as possible. I'm sure you will see a noticeable change as everything is upgraded. As for your mouse issue, I'm not sure exactly what's going on with that. Does it now allow you click areas on the chart? It is showing you just cross-lines? Give our customer support team a call and I'm sure they will be able to troubleshoot your issue.

  6. Another great video. Could you please tell me the status on allowing multiple portfolios (such as a watch list and one u own etc). Also is there a fast way to browse all the charts on your portfolio list. I just want to be able to run through my stock list each night.
Thanks for all the great work.
    Sean

    1. Sean,

We're working on a new portfolio tool now. I don't know exactly when it will be ready, but it's in the works.

About your question about seeing all of the charts on your portfolio list, are you referring to the large Flash charts, or just the small thumbnail size chart?

If you want to see the large charts, use the pull down menu on the top left hand corner of the chart.

If you want to see the small thumbnail size charts with the Chart Analysis Score, use the "Chart Analyze My Entire Portfolio Link" at the bottom of your portfolio.

If this isn't what you are looking to do, or you have any questions please contact our support team at 1-800-538-7424.

  7. Sounds great. I joined your site the other month and like the service a lot, thanks for the good work you do and for making it available!

I have a request I've been meaning to ask about your videos. Can you adjust the levels higher for the sound in your video recordings? They're probably 50% lower than other videos I view and even when turning them up to 100% volume (on a laptop) they are still low and hard to hear. I don't think I'm going deaf yet 🙂 Thanks in advance!

    Dave

    1. Dave,

You're not going deaf... it's not just you having a difficult time hearing the new video. We got an amazing new microphone for our studio and we're still getting used to it. I have told Adam to increase the volume and he said, "Consider it done." Thanks for letting us know too!

Glad to have you as a member. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything in the future.

  8. How about adding the ability to change the color of the indicator lines for your color-challenged club members (8% of men and 0.5% of women)? or maybe just a "color vision impaired" color scheme option like stockcharts.com has.

    1. Ron,

I'm sorry that this feature isn't available right now. We did have this on the previous charting applet, so I'm sorry if it was a sudden change for you. I have forwarded this suggestion on to our in-office tech rep and we will put in on a list for further consideration when the next version becomes available.

      Thanks for the feedback.

  9. larger charts are great but is the chart of the 30 min period cut off on the right side? Also, it is 1:50 pm now and June 17 date has not yet appeared on it. Don`t know if this is common to other charts.

    1. Dear Bill,

When you are looking on the chart, click the calendar in the top right hand corner of the charting applet. Make sure you have today's date highlighted. Then just click off the calendar tool and the chart should adjust using today's date. I believe that may be the solution to your problem, but it could very well be something else.

If that doesn't solve your issue then give our Help Team a call at 1.800.538.7424.

  10. Hi, I'm a new member so still learning. Is there a way to print charts? I was trying to print one with trend lines and fib retracements but was unable to get one printed. If the capability exists please point me in the right direction. If it doesn't exist, it would be a very useful one to add. Thanks.

    1. Hi Rick,

There is a way, but sometimes it can be a bit tricky. It depends if you are on a PC or Mac. Use the link below for some printing tips. Also if you are on a Mac you can use your screen capture function and then rescale the image.

      http://club.ino.com/trading/marketclub-help-section/flash-charts/how-do-i-print-a-chart/

If you are on a PC, remember that you may need to alter the scale setting and it may take a few tries, but if you having any further issues, call the support team and they will try to walk you through it.

      1. Hi Lindsay,

Thank you for the tip on printing. I was able to get a printout (on a PC) but the approach is not very elegant. Another drawback is the print contains more than just the chart. Due to control-print screen, it also prints the top of the browser as well the task bar at the bottom of the screen.

In addition to real time charts as previously suggested, I would definitely suggest that you consider adding print capability to the chart in a future release.

Thanks again. And I do like the bigger charts.

        1. Rick,

After I wrote you I started playing around with printing the charts and I see your issues. I have someone in the office looking into it and we'll try to come up with some better trouble-shooting tips for printing.

Stick with us and thanks for the feedback for sure.

        2. Hi Lindsay,

Another issue I came across with charts is that my "Below-Chart Studies" do not stay put in the order that I set them up. Every time I move off the charting page and come back to it, the order of my Below-Chart Studies would randomly change. All the studies are there, they're just in the wrong order. This is rather annoying because I have to constantly change them to get them back to the way I set them. This reduces productivity and certainly does not help in creating a positive user experience with the tool.

Please have your technical staff research a fix for this. Because of the frequency of occurrence, time loss and increased level of frustration, personally, I would give this a higher priority than chart printing.

I'm new to the service but I like it so far. The trade triangles and their integration with the charts are definitely a worthwhile addition to a trader/investor's the toolkit. These constructive comments are meant to improve the system so we can all benefit from it.

          Thanks.

      2. screen capture with Mac does not work. Please have your Mac tech look at the problem

        1. Hey Jeff,

have you tried holding down COMMAND -> SHIFT -> #4? This will turn your cursor into crosshairs with the pixel count on the left hand side. Click and drag until your chart area is highlighted, then release. This will copy the selected area as a JPEG on your desktop, from there you can open the image in an applicable program or print the image directly. I just make sure that my printing settings are correct when printing that horizontal chart image.

Just a tip. We are working on some other trouble-shooting tips for the charts.

  11. I second comment by Jan. Real time is very much needed. Especially for Triangle Scans. As it stands we are always late on entries.

  12. And real time charts on stocks so I can better plan my entry for stocks would be great also!

Thanks for the update, hope you keep improving, especially the portfolio (more then one) and scan only scan your portfolio, a market, ...!

  13. Great nw feature. However, it would be nice to have the possiblit to size them up ourselves acording to 3 chart size for example. Small / Medium and large. Small being what they used to be and large being the actuall size with medium bieng an intermediate state between the two.

    Just a quick idea !!!

    Great job anyway.

    Loic.
