  1. Hi Mike,

    For me it is a solitary endeavor in determining and executing my style of trading. I believe this to be more true ( or necessary )when the time-frame that I trade in is shorter. Time is more critical therefore the analysis, management, execution and settlement of transactions are more personalized and can't be adopted nor interrupted by others.

    I used to work for a prop firm and it wasn't a good experience. Constant noise and group participation and the imposed trading style distracted me from doing what I wanted and had limited my abilities. When working alone at home I was able to focus and uncover so much more about myself and my skills - less to think/worry about. Please know that I do have friends and trading collegues I keep intouch and share ideas with, I'm not a total recluse, but when it comes to working - It simplifies alot and helps me focus much more.

  3. Your "style" is what you already do, but my "style" has changed since I subscribed to Marketclub. I am less prone to selling too soon and somewhat faster at eliminating losing positions. I still like to take frequent small profits though as opposed to buy and hold for months or years and the club has definitely helped my success rate.
    I have one question. What are the horizontal red lines on the intraday charts?

      The horizontal red lines on the intraday charts are the previous close. For example, on an hourly chart the line in your current hour is the last hour's close.
