INO.com Makes Valentine’s Day Inspired Donation To South County Assistance Network’s Food Bank

SHADY SIDE, MARYLAND – FEBRUARY 20, 2015 - INO.com, Inc., a website that provides quotes, charts, news and analysis for stock, futures, forex, ETF and mutual fund traders, makes food bank donation to South County Assistance Network as part of their February 2015 INO Cares campaign.

The South County Assistance Network (SCAN), based in Lothian, Maryland, is a non-profit organization supported by individuals from the faith and business community. SCAN not only runs a food pantry, but also assists with the payment of heating bills for community members in need during the harsh winter months.

INO.com President, Adam Hewison, and his wife have made charitable contributions to SCAN for the last five years. Donations that are collected are distributed directly back to neighbors and families in the surrounding area. “It’s so reassuring to know that our donation does not leave the county. We personally know people that need help and we know that SCAN directly helps them. It means so much to be able to help the people we see everyday,” says Hewison.

Hewison wanted INO.com to join in their crusade to help the local community. Because of his love for this organization, South Country Assistance Network was selected as the INO Cares charity recipient for February 2015. Hewison and his business partner, David Maher, shopped for nonperishable items, while other INO.com employees hand-delivered the donation items to SCAN on February 19th, 2015.
