Poll: Where Is The Market Headed In 2014?

2013 is coming to a close tonight, and the stock market is closing out a banner year. As of last night's close (12/30/13) The DOW will finish up about 3400 pts., the S&P500 will be up 415 pts., and the NASDAQ will finish up about 1136 pts. That's an impressive year! With that run, you have to wonder if it will continue into the new year. What do you think?

Rise of the Drones?

The Federal Aviation Administration announced six states on Monday that will develop test sites for drones, a critical next step for the march of the unmanned aircraft into U.S. skies.

Alaska, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Texas and Virginia will host the research sites, providing diverse climates, geography and air traffic environments, FAA Administrator Michael Huerta said.

Drones have been mainly used by the military, but governments, businesses, farmers and others are making plans to join the market. Many universities are starting or expanding drone programs. Continue reading "Rise of the Drones?"
