3 Stocks To Sweeten Your Portfolio

Halloween costumes and confectionery sales move into high gear tonight as millions of children will dress up and go trick-or-treating.

I thought it would be fun to take a look at the sweet side of the market and pick out some "sweet" stocks for you.

I have three stocks to satisfy your sweet tooth today:
Nestlé SA (NASDAQ:NSRGY)
Hershey Co (NYSE:HSY)
Mondelez Intl (NASDAQ:MDLZ)

All three stocks are in a positive mode based on the Trade Triangle technology and look to go higher.

The stock I'm analyzing in detail is Nestlé SA (NASDAQ:NSRGY).

Nobel Prize Winner: Bubbles Don't Exist

By Doug French

No wonder investors don't take economists seriously. Or if they do, they shouldn't. Since Richard Nixon interrupted Hoss and Little Joe on a Sunday night in August 1971, it's been one boom and bust after another. But don't tell that to the latest Nobel Prize co-winner, Eugene Fama, the founder of the efficient-market hypothesis.

The efficient-market hypothesis asserts that financial markets are "informationally efficient," claiming one cannot consistently achieve returns in excess of average market returns on a risk-adjusted basis.

"Fama's research at the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s showed how incredibly difficult it is to beat the market, and how incredibly difficult it is to predict how share prices will develop in a day's or a week's time," said Peter Englund, secretary of the committee that awards the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. "That shows that there is no point for the common person to get involved in share analysis. It's much better to invest in a broadly composed portfolio of shares." 5 Stocks to Watch

Hello traders everywhere! Adam Hewison here, President of INO.com and Co-creator of MarketClub, with your mid-day market update for Wednesday, the 30th of October.

Stock To Watch - Deckers Outdoor (NASDAQ:DECK)

Here is a stock that is coming from a massive base and appears to want to move higher. All of the Trade Triangles are positive on Deckers Outdoor Corp (NASDAQ:DECK). On Monday, Deckers moved to its best levels in 18 months and appears to want to challenge some of its Fibonacci retracement levels. The first major level is $73.23, which represents a 50% retracement. The next major level is $83.92, which represents a 61.8% retracement. I expect this stock to stay strong for the balance of the year. As always with any trade, use money management stops to protect capital. Continue reading "5 Stocks to Watch"

When it comes to trading, active markets are always the best. If you have traded the markets for a considerable amount of time, you know that the best part of the trading day is within the first hour to ninety minutes. This is a time period when there is typically high volume in the market. Higher volume indicates more participation in the markets, especially by institutions. This activity allows for the key support/resistance levels found on charts to be great trading points. Why UPS Could Be A Big Winner This Quarter

Hello traders everywhere! Adam Hewison here, President of INO.com and Co-creator of MarketClub, with your mid-day market update for Tuesday, the 29th of October.

Apple Update

It was both good news and bad news yesterday for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). Apple beat earnings, but it was not enough for some analysts who fretted over the fact that the Apple’s margins had shrunk from previous quarters. I say, you can’t please everyone all the time and maybe analysts were putting too fine a point on this. The trend in Apple is higher technically and I'm still looking for a move to the $580, or possibly the $600 level.

Last month Apple closed out at $476.53, and is up over 10% for the month of October. I still believe Apple is headed higher and that belief is backed up with the Trade Triangle technology. All systems are go for this stock. Continue reading "Why UPS Could Be A Big Winner This Quarter"
