Hello traders and MarketClub members everywhere. Today, I am going to be looking at what could be an amazing coincidence in Apple. It could also be a profitable opportunity for alert traders. Before we get into that, I hope you all had a chance to look at yesterday's special post on gold. If you didn't, please check it out right here.
It is the last day of the trading week, with both the stock and bond markets closed tomorrow for Good Friday.
I want to lay out for you a potential trading scenario for Apple stock. To that end, I have shown on the below daily chart what I think is going to happen in the future.
In approximately 7 days from now, give or take a couple of days, Apple should offer an amazing buy opportunity if this scenario plays out like I think it will.
It appears after making a high, Apple sort of drifts back for the next 33 to 34 days before it once again has a sharp upward move. If that same scenario plays out this time, then somewhere between the 10th and 12th of April would be in ideal time to look at getting long stock in Apple. On April 10th, Apple is going to begin taking preorders for its new Apple Watch, coincidence maybe. I'm sure there will be legions of loyal Apple fans waiting and wanting the latest gadget from Apple. Continue reading "Is This Apple's Secret Or One Amazing Coincidence?"
It has been quite a week for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) with the news that its iCloud storage system had been hacked, and stolen photographs of nude celebrities starting popping up everywhere on the web.
Apple did issue a statement saying that certain celebrity iCloud accounts were compromised, but notes, "None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple systems including iCloud's find my phone feature. We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved."
What that indicates to me is the fact that the hackers were looking for specific names and photographs that they could use as currency. I heard today that some photographs from the paparazzi can sell upwards of $50,000 or $100,000 so they are valuable to certain entities and enterprises.

One of the big success stories in 2009 was the rise of Apple. With its sexy new products like the iPhone, the iPod, and the iMac, Apple has seen its fortunes rise in dramatic fashion.
So what's happening just before the holidays with Apple? Why are we seeing Apple stutter and falter? In my new video, I share with you what I believe is going to happen to one of my favorite markets.

Yesterday I produced a video on how to trade divergences in the S&P 500. Today, I'm following up that video with a divergence I see developing in one of the biggest tech stocks in the world, Apple (NASDAQ_AAPL).
In this short four minute video, I'll explain some of the possible negative divergences that are building for this market. Divergences do not mean that Apple is going to collapse, as the major trend in the stock remains firmly in the positive camp. However, it could indicate that Apple is at a highpoint for the time being.
