After trading as high as $73 a barrel, crude oil began to buckle under pressure as the CFTC began to look into position limits that can be held by traders.

Perception indicates that the bear is back (New DOW video)

Adam Hewison here and I've just finished a new video on the Dow Jones Industrial Index (DOW) that I'd like to share with you.

This may be a short video, but I think you'll get a lot out it. I'll analyze what's going on right now in the DOW, how it has developed over the last six months, and where I expect the DOW to go in the next six months.

As I've discussed before, perception is everything in the marketplace. I believe that perception is beginning to change in this market and the bears are back.

One of the largest problems in trading any kind of financial instrument is how to analyze price action. Present 10 different traders with a given candle chart and ask them to classify market trend, support and resistance and chart patterns and the chances are you will receive 10 different looking sets of analysis in return. Not only is it likely that traders will differ substantially in the important areas identified, present the same trader with the same chart, at a different time, it is highly likely that the two charts you will now have will be different to each other. Some thoughts on the dollar. (New Forex Video)

Today, we are dissecting and examining one of my favorite markets ... the Forex market. The Forex market is the biggest market in the world and is traded on a 24/7 basis.

What makes these markets so exciting is the fact that they have a very strong tendency to trend, that is, once they get started in one direction they tend to continue in that direction for some time.

I learned how to trade Forex in the trading pits of Chicago where I was a member of the IMM, a division of the Chicago Mercantile exchange. The CME has grown dramatically over the years, and I have many fond memories of trading in the old exchange in Chicago. Today, you can trade the stock of the CME (NASDAQ_CME).
